As detailed on our website, Benalmadena is composed of three main areas. These areas are: Benalmadena Costa, Arroyo de la Miel and Benalmadena Pueblo.  In each of these you will find various Urbanisations, some busy, some tranquil, some old, some new.  In this section we will try to give a concise insight to some of these Urbanisations where you will find wither apartments, townhouses or villas for sale, along with a description.

Urbanisations of Benalmadena Costa

 These Urbanisations include (West to East) :

 Carvajal - (mainly apartments, with some townhouses -Carvajal borders with Fuengirola and has a train station. However, amenities are somewhat distant.

Examples of Apartment Complexes: Balcones de Benalmadena ,   Mirador de Carvajal, Jardines de Carvajal  etc

La Perla - This Urbanisation is located directly below Benalmadena Pueblo, in fact the road from the Pueblo runs directly down albeit with various curves to this area amd meets with the coastal road, property for sale here will include mainly townhouses and villas. La Perla is very tranquil area, the closest shops are that of Torremuelle where there are just a few , but also it has an International School close by.

Torremuelle - (VIDEO-CLICK HERE) This urbanisation is also located with a road which link it to Benalmadena Pueblo. There is a train station here, which connects to Fuengirola, Malaga centre and Malaga Airport with various other stops between.  There is a reputable private school in this urbanisation which known as "The British College". In my opinion Torremuelle is quite an appealing urbanisation because it has the train station, a supermarket, is practical for getting to the beach and is actually quite residential.  The urbanisation dates back mainly to the 1980´s, so the majority of houses here are around 30 years old.  It is a good balanced community with quite a few Scandinavians. Just above Torremuelle there exists quite an exclusive and luxury complex known as Casablanca

Nueva Torrequebrada - As the name dictates this is new part of Torrequebrada and is a rather large area which radiates north close to the border with Arroyo de la Miel. In this Urbanisation there  s a small comercial centre with some shops,and a restaurant. In addition there is a good supermarket and a school.  Nueva Torrequebrada borders with the coastal,western part of the Championship golf course known as Torrequebrada Golf.  Therefore apartments in Nueva Torrequebrada that are close relatively close to the sea and with Golf views face East.

Beachside Complexes: Costaquebrada, Las tres Caravelas, La Sirena,  Puerta del Mar, Vela de Mar

Torrequebrada & Torrequebrada Golf- The area of Torrequebrada is also relatively large and spans from the eastern side of Torrequebrada Golf all the way to Sunset Beach Hotel, which is really where all amenities begin. As well as being coastal Torrequebrada occupies an extensive area heading north and also includes parts of Arenal Golf ,therefore bordering Arroyo de la Miel.  Torrequebrada is composed of Apartments, Townhouses and Villas.  In fact Villas in Torrequebrada Golf  (VIDEO-CLICK HERE) are some of the more luxurious properties to be found in Benalmadena.

Villas: Torrequebrada

Benalmadena Costa - Now the area of Benalmadena Costa is loosely used by many. Literally it refers to the whole coastal area of Benalmadena. HOWEVER, some will refer to Benalmadena Costa as being the tourist and most central part of Benalmadena, which incidently begins at Sunset Beach Hotel, through the Avda de las Palmeras area, then Parque Paloma area and all the way to Puerto Marina.  The area of Avda de las Palmeras (Palm Tree Avenue) is actually one of the few areas of Benalmadena which accomodates good amenities on level ground with virtually no hills to tackle when walking around.  However, this means that there are relatively fewer properties here with sea views. There are no villas on the coast here until one reaches the area close to Puertomarina in the area of "Sol y Mar".

The area of Paloma Park is very appealing to many, as this area is directly blow Arroyo de la Miel Town centre and the Park here is large with a lake, mini zoo, restaurants, chickens, rabbits (all running loose) and playgounds for the kids!

 Urbanisations of Arroyo de la Miel

 Arroyo de la Miel is also a vast area which reaches down to the area of Paloma Park and actually borders close to Torremolinos in the area of El Pinillo.  It goes up to the motorway and to the west borders close to Torrequebrada with areas at its most western part which include the urbanisations of villas such as Veracruz and MonteAlto. Villas may also be found in the eastern section closer to El Pinillo.   Apartments in the centre of Arroyo de la Miel do not tend to have community pools or generous terraces.  Urbanisations of Benalmadena Pueblo 

 The heart of Benalmadena Pueblo is composed of traditional Andalucian village houses. These houses often dont have a terrace or use of swimming pool.  In addition, when they were originally built, the characteristics were such that the property would be cool in the summer, hence the small windows which more often aim for morning sun rather than afternoon sun. Therefore most typical Andalucian village houses aren´t so bright inside.  Given all these characteristics, the heart of the pueblo has remained very Andalucian with many native residents who incidently carry on the traditions and Andalucian atmosphere the pueblo has to offer.

It is in the surrounding areas of Benalmadena Pueblo where we find various urbanisations of Villas, Townhouses and Apartments.  Below we list some of the urbanisations in or close to Benalmadena Pueblo.
